Laurin is a lifetime resident of Idaho and resides on the family ranch in Twin
Lakes. The ranch has been continuous in agriculture and cattle production since 1910. Owned and leased land total 1500 acres and is a family operation made up of Laurin, four (4) sons, and one (1) daughter. Laurin is super active in the community and sits on several boards or associations such as: Kootenai Shoshone cattle Assoc., Kootenai Shoshone Farm Bureau, USDA FSA Kootenai County - Plummer Office, Kootenai County Aquifer Protection District, Kootenai Shoshone 4H Stock Sale Committee and was the 4H Beef and Swine leader for 25 years
